Strawberry Blueberry Tart

I couldn’t wait to share this recipe with you because…It is so yummy!!!!  But I have to warn you…this Berry Tart is VERY sweet!  It is also scrumptious with a light phyllo dough crunch, berry tartness, and gooey gooey sweetness all rolled into one bite!  With a few simple ingredients and little preparation, you can make this to!  I’ll let you in on a little secret…this goes really well right after eating a pizza!  It also goes well with a cup of coffee for breakfast!  Can you tell that we ate really bad this week!  I keep telling myself next week will be better.  So you might be getting a salad recipe in our inbox next week :-). Strawberry Blueberry Tart

Ingredients:

1 16oz pack of strawberries
1 cup blueberries
1 package 15 phyllo shells
1 stick butter, salted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Bisquick flour

Instructions:

Cut up strawberries
Mash blueberries and strawberries with a fork leaving big chunks
Drain berries leaving a small amount of juice
Fill phyllo shells with berry mixture
Mix butter, sugar, and Bisquick together with your hands making sugared covered clumps of butter which will be your crunch for the top
Layer berry filled shells with sugar mixture
Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes

Note:  You will have some of the sugar crunch left over to use with another dessert or on top of pancakes for a sugary buttery crunch!
