Happy Valentine’s Day from Jake and Maggie!  We wanted to say that if your looking for that special gift for that special person, maybe a kitty or a doggie would be nice.  Come to the Beaver County Humane Society and check out these beautiful sweet animals up for adoption today.

Thank you for reading our blog and wishing all our friends a wonderful day!

Xoxo,
Jake and Maggie

Neeko (orange/white)and Wylie (gray/white) came in together and are 11 years old and the sweetest fellas! And along came Gigi (dilute calico) a 12 year old sweetheart, whose owner passed away and she was so sad and scared in a cage that the shelter decided to house these three special kitties together. It was love at first site with Neeko and Gigi, he and Wylie welcomed her with kisses to the colony room they are in. Although Gigi is a bit on the shy side, she has Neeko to make her feel secure and of course the love and care of the shelter staff and volunteers. Neeko and Wylie do need to go to  a home together and they would just love to have Gigi be part of their family also. Please consider giving these sweet older kitties a home where they can live out their senior years in a loving home with nice cozy beds! Once you stop and meet these kitties you will fall in love! They hope to see you soon!

Hello! My name is Zeus and I’m one fun loving and exuberant dude. The staff at the shelter tell me I’m smart, silly and that I seem to enjoy the company of other dogs. I love to play with toys and seem to have quite a bit of energy. Potential adopters should research my breed, be an active family willing to do lots of activites with me and want to teach me new things. I have been around children and because I don’t really know how big I am I would sometimes knock them over, so a family with teens and adults would be best for me. Sometimes I need a warm up process when meeting new human friends, so I am required to have multiple meetings with my new family prior to adopting. If you are interested in meeting with me please stop by the shelter today!

Hello! My name is Gomez and I’m a big ol’ beautiful boy! I can seem a little shy at first to new people but once you get to know me I will steal your heart and you’ll fall in love. Due to my size and the fact that I can get super excited sometimes the staff think I would do best in a home with older teens and adults that live an active lifestyle, I would also love a family that enjoys teaching dogs new tricks. I haven’t been around other dogs here in the shelter just yet and since I was a stray the staff are not sure how I would do with dogs as well as cats so if you have another dog we would have to do a meet and greet. If you are interested in meeting me please stop by the shelter today!

Hello, my name is Lilu and I’m an 8yr old Lab mix. I’m a very sophisticated and mature middle aged gal that is looking for a calm and relaxing home. My partying days are over, now I prefer to snuggle up with my human friends and watch a good flick. As much as I love to be around people it may take me a little but to warm up to new faces so I am required multiple meets prior to adoption. Due to my mature and easy going nature I would do best in a home with less traffic and adults only. One more thing, I love to steal the spotlight so I must be the only pet in the home (don’t worry though because if you adopt me you won’t even think twice about needing another fur friend).  I’ll be patiently waiting for you at the Beaver County Humane Society.

Heeeey, my name is Vinny and I’m a 7yr old Sharpei/Pit Bull mix. I’m a calm, laid back and reserved elder man. I’m seeking a family that is just like me, a calm and low traffic home with adults only. It can sometimes take some time for me to warm up to new people but I really am a sweet guy that will steal your heart. To make my transition as successful as possible I am seeking a home with a nice fenced in yard and a family with patience to help me adapt to new surroundings. I have never lived with dogs but when I see them they can make me uneasy but cats, I can dig em. Oh, and I also really enjoy butt scratches!

Hello! My name is Snow, I am new to the shelter! I am a very happy wiggly boy and I enjoy spending time with my human friends. I’m not sure how to play so older kids to adults would be ideal for me. Although I enjoy my human friends very much, dogs make me a little uncomfortable so I may need to be the only dog in the home. I do know sit and shake, but that’s all I know. I may need more training. Please keep checking my profile for updates as the staff gets to know me better!
